Partner message:

We are so proud to be a part of Brunch With a Purpose because it's a great way for us to give back to the community and support kids who could use some extra love, especially around the holidays.

Partner message:

I'm thrilled to announce that PorchLight is sponsoring us this year! Their employees are rallying together to help sponsor our children! The owners are some of the most community-minded people I've ever met.

Partner message:

For us, this is a great way to help kids in need. Susan is doing a wonderful thing here, and we want to help her.

Make the holidays brighter for kids in need!

Brunch With A Purpose 2011 is on.

Update: We reached our goal! BWAP 2011 was a complete success!

I am hosting a fundraising brunch where an extended network of family, friends, and businesses support Santa gifts for children in need. During the past three years, Brunch With a Purpose has provided gifts for my clients in need. This year we are sponsoring 60 children who have been involved in the Social Services system, due to dependency cases or neglect. The Brunch works by having people bring gifts for the children rather than getting gifts for anyone else who comes to the brunch. Check out the wish list for each kid at the Brunch With a Purpose website.

Budget:

  • $150 for food and beverages
  • $50 for Brunch Supplies
  • $75 for gift-wrapping supplies
  • $100 for gifts for major sponsors
  • $100 for printing
  • $75 for postage
  • All other money will go to gifts for the children

I post a wish list for each child on the Brunch With a Purpose website. As members of the community purchase presents, I cross them off the list. On the day of the Brunch, guests bring unwrapped gifts addressed to each child from Santa as well as donations which I use to purchase the rest of the gifts. I then deliver presents to each foster home, making the holidays brighter for kids.
