East High Angel Foundation
The Student Assistance Fund’s goal is to remove economic barriers to academic success. This includes providing students with support for fees (art, music, athletic, AP testing, SAT and ACT testing, and cap & gowns for graduation) books (required reading for English classes, accelerated and advanced placement textbooks) , required equipment (scientific and graphing calculators, PE uniforms), and transportation utilizing RTD teen bus passes. (yellow buses are not provided in Denver Public Schools). The SAF program provides qualified students with several options to receive assistance, 1) the item loan program, 2) the work program, 3) the financial loan program. Scholarships are evaluated on an individual basis.
